Awaiting their next duties at Gloucester Horton Road MPD on 10th March 1970 are 'Warship' Class diesel hydraulic No. 855 'Triumph', 'Peak' Class diesel electric No. 38 and 'Western' Class diesel hydraulic No. D1034 'Western Dragoon'. 855 was new from North British Locomotive Company in October 1961 and withdrawn just ten years later in October 1971. 38 was new from Derby Works in July 1961, became Class 45 No. 45032 under TOPS and was withdrawn in September 1980. D1034 was new from Crewe Works in April 1964 and withdrawn in October 1975. All three were cut up at Swindon Works, during April 1972, September 1983 and May 1977 respectively.
