SR 'Battle of Britain' Class Pacific No. 34057 'Biggin Hill' taking water at Evercreech Junction on 5th March 1966. It was waiting for the arrival of the LCGB 'Somerset & Dorset' Railtour which, double-headed with 'West Country' No. 34006 'Bude', it would head to Bath Green Park then back to Bournemouth Central. The tour was run from London Waterloo to mark the closure of the S & DJR line that weekend and also utilised 35028, 41307 and 41249 for parts of the journey. New as SR No. 21C157 from Brighton Works in March 1947, 34057 was withdrawn from Salisbury MPD in May 1967 and cut up at Cashmore of Newport during October of that year.
