Brush Type 4 diesel electric No. 1604 passes Dawlish on 26th May 1971 with a Paignton - Nottingham working. New from Crewe Works in July 1964 and first allocated to Landore (87E), it became Class 47/4 No. 47476 under TOPS and was named 'Night Mail' at the Bristol Bath Road Open Day on 29th June 1991. The loco was withdrawn in November 2003 and cut-up by CF Booth of Rotherham during May 2004.
