Stanier 'Jubilee' Class 4-6-0 No. 45593 'Kolhapur' takes water at Skipton on 2nd October 1966 at the head of the Leeds City - Carlisle Kingmoor leg of the SLS special 1X82, the 'Pennine Railtour' which originated at Birmingham Snow Hill. Other motive power used on the special were Nos. 45292, 70004, D225, E3010 and E3179. New as No. 5593 from the North British Locomotive Company, Glasgow, in December 1934, it was re-numbered in December 1948. The loco was withdrawn from Holbeck MPD in October 1967 but was purchased for preservation in January 1968 by the Standard Gauge Steam Trust and is currently at the Tyseley Locomotive Works.
