Brush Class 47 No. 47628 'Sir Daniel Gooch' passes Churchdown on 14th March 1988 with a Royal Train working from London Paddington to Cheltenham. Sporting GWR lined green livery and brass nameplates as part of the GW150 celebrations, the loco was new in February 1965 as D1663 and later renumbered 47078.
