Bo-Bo-Bo is a wheel arrangement unfamiliar in the UK but finds application on the mountainous routes in Swithzerland, providing better performance on curves than a two-bogied Co-Co. Class Re6/6 No. 11652 'KERZERS' is double-heading a heavy freight travelling north on the Gotthard route approaching Brunnen on 20th June 1992. Early versions of the loco had a body articulated at a central join but this is one of the later rigid examples.
