The Allington to Whatley Quarry empties wends its way up the Kennet Valley on 29th June 2023 in the charge of Class 59/2 No. 59202, now carrying its previous name of 'Pride of Ferrybridge' from its National Power days. The up loop line on Hungerford Common had just accommodated the 4000 and tonne Merehead to Theale aggregates taking refuge from a GWR IET service.
