Lost in the landscape - Class 47/0 No. 47227 trundles along the scenic third-rail electric line between Dover and Folkestone between duties, with views of the famous white cliffs in the background on 6th June 1982. In modern times the Channel Tunnel route runs inland from here and passes under Hougham mast on the skyline before setting out under the English Channel.
