The West Lancs Light Railway [WLLR] held a Gala event over the weekend of 10 - 1 1st August 2013 when 6 steam locomotives were in use on an intensive service of both freight and passenger trains.
On 10th August Hunslet 921 Sybil Mary pilots resident Kerr Stuart 2405 "Joffre", fresh from their recent visit to Threlkeld Quarry Mining Museum, departed from Derlph with the final passenger train of the day to Becconshall.
