Cross Country Class 170 Turbostar No 170639 heads a service south towards Cheltenham at Brockhampton on 14 March 2012. The cottage was originally occupied by the cross keeper and was built by the Birmingham and Gloucester Railway in 1840 although the upper floor was added later when the line was taken over by the Midland Railway in1850.
