A former sugar millm gauge 0-4-2 steam locomotive stands as a static exhibit at the marina station in Port Douglas in Tropical Northern Queensland. The coastal plain is criss-crossed by sugarcane tramways, which this 1934 Leeds-built locomotive was built to operate upon. Latterly though it worked on the Ballyhooley Tourist Railway, which sadly ceased operating in September 2022, when its aged owner finally retired unable to find anyone to take over the operation. The locomotives stand were they last came to a halt on the last day of operations - the tracks behind them now lifted for use on operating supercane lines.
