Class 47/0 No. 47113 approaches Beighton Junction passing the unused exchange sidings for Brookhouse Colliery. The train has been signalled for the old LD&EC branch to Spinkhill for loading at Westthorpe colliery. This photograph was taken during 1983 and the Brookhouse Colliery exchange sidings no longer exist, having been lifted many years ago.
