BR Type 2 A1A-A1A No. 31414 as seen at Wirksworth on 7th May 2011. The locomotive was built by Brush (Loughborough), entering service on 14th September 1961 and worked until 1st February 1999 when withdrawn and finally taken into preservation at The Ecclesbourne Valley Railway. The locomotive has since been purchased by A1A Locomotives Ltd. and now resides at The Midland Railway Centre at Swanwick.
