VSOE Baggage Car No. 7 or its official No. 99533 a LNER 1943 built Full Gangway Brake that in 1981 was extensively rebuilt for use with the VSOE set that included conversion to air braked and electric train heating as well as reskinning in steel over the fine teak body. By 1995 it was no longer in use on the main line and in the year 2000 the baggage car was dispatched to Booth Roe of Rotherham for scrapping. Here it brings up the rear of the train hauled by Large logo Class 47/4 No. 47459 as it departs Stafford on 23rd November 1986 with the VSOE Pullmans on a London Euston to Morecambe special for the Lancashire evening post centenary. Class 87 No. 87023 had brought the stock up from London and was replaced by the Class 47 at Stafford.
