Class 85 no. 85022 is seen on the A74 heading for Glasgow. This picture was taken only a few miles from where the locomotive caught fire at Beattock on 9th December 1988 when hauling a Northbound freight. It was stored at Carlisle New Yard then Crewe before returning North to meet its fate at MC Metals.
