The Railway Touring Company [RTC] ran a commemorative 1T57 railtrip from Liverpool to Carlisle on 11th August 2013 in memory of the last steam train working on BR on 11th August 1968. The Manchester - Carlisle leg was hauled by Britannia Class 7 Pacific No. 70013 Oliver Cromwell seen descending Hoghton Bank with the outward working.
