Another interesting locomotive pictured on 13th June 2013 on store with Voith Turbo at Kiel, is former Berlin Transport Authorities Gmeinder E / DE 110 locomotive No. 5051. The locomotive is 1 of 2 built by Kaeble-Gmeinder and Siemens in 1988 with 750V DC voltage power rail pick up and diesel electric transmission, with a reduced height it was able to operate in the North-South S-Bahn tunnel. With reunification the loco came under the ownership of Deutsche Bahn and was given its current No of 478 602-6.
