An unidentified WD 2-8-0 on an eastbound freight before the end of local steam working in June 1967. Steam could be seen here up to the end of steam as light engines working from the north-west to Healey Mills yard used the westbound line when turning on the triangular junction with the Barnsley line, the far end of which marked the eastern limit of steam working. mid 1960's.
