In recent years, Stoke Gifford yard has once again become a very busy location. In B.R times, differing commodities were dealt with such as the Tytherington stone trains etc. Nowadays it is 'Freightliner' who oversee operations with coal workings. Here, during a sunny lunchtime, one of the company's Class 66/9 loco's No. 66957 'Stevenson Locomotive Society', stands at the head of such a working, awaiting its next turn of duty on 7th September 2012.
