This image of Class 312 No. 312708 was taken at King's Cross station, London, in the early to mid 1970's. You will recognise the colourful livery in use at that time, complete with the familiar British Rail 'twin track' motif. The Handyside Bridge in the background has been dismantled to be replaced by a modern style bridge.
