Autumn brings potential problems for the rail operating companies in the form of leaf mulch on the tracks causing problems for modern day trains to grip the surface. A solution is to blast the leaf mulch off the tracks using a high-powered water-jet and this image shows this solution being used (look to the left of the train next to the wagon in front of the rearmost locomotive) on the approach to Llanishen station, Cardiff. The locomotives are EWS-liveried Class 66s numbered No. 66134 at the front with 66165 at the rear of 3S61, Bargoed to Margam on 20th October 2011.
