This train can only be photographed in daylight during high summer, 6M11 the 0218 Lindsey Oil Refinery to Rectory Junction is seen at its destination on the Eastern outskirts of Nottingham. In days of yore (before 1987) the train would travel down the Lowfields branch and approach the location from the east and head straight into the oil terminal but since the early eighties when the branch closed the train runs from Lindsey to Nottingham, runs round just outside Nottingham station then heads East on the Grantham line, on arrival at Rectory the train in its entirety pulls past RJ56 signal seen on the viaduct before setting back via a trailing connection into the oil terminal. Here No. 60074 is seen propelling its 24 loaded TEA tanks over the inky River Trent at 0550 on Wednesday 1st June 2011.
