Class 153 No. 153333 made a rare substituton for a three-car 170 on 12th/13th October, when it was paired with Class 170/5 No. 170502. These combinations have regular diagrams on the Rugeley/Walsall/Hereford routes but very rarely venture to Shrewsbury. It is seen here prior to working the 13:47 to Birmingham New Street while Arriva-liveried classmate No. 153327 is the 14:05 Heart of Wales service to Swansea.
