The 75th anniversary 'Silver Jubilee' railtour from London King's Cross to Newcastle speeds through Durham nearly two hours late on 30th September 2010 hauled by LMS Pincess Coronation Class steam locomotive No. 6233 'Duchess of Sutherland on 30th September 2010. LNER Class A4 steam loco No. 60019 'Bittern' hauled the railtour on the King's Cross-York-King's Cross legs with 6233 heading the York-Newcastle-York legs.
