The Teddy Bear on Tour programme continues as Class 14 No. D9521, normally based on the Dean Forest Railway, works services on the Llangollen Railway. On Saturday 18th September 2010 it was scheduled to work four round trips but problems arose with the operation of reverse gear. While repairs were made to the locking pin that was the source of the problem, its first train was cancelled, resident Class 26 No. D5310 was substituted for the second trip and No. D9521 was finally able to work its last two trips. The loco was seen departs from Glyndyfrdwy as it worked the 14:00 Llangollen - Carrog as the first leg of its first round trip of the day.
