Hudswell Clarke & Co Ltd 0-6-0 ST number No. 31 descends the bank at Sir William McAlpine's private Fawley Hill Railway on Sunday 8th August. The locomotive was delivered new to Robert McAlpine & Sons in 1913 and is the only surviving locomotive to have been owned by McCalpines's for it's whole working life, arriving at Fawley Hill in September 1965. (The arches in the background came from London Waterloo in 1991).
