Saturday 25th July 2009 saw the rare occurence of two steam hauled excursions departing from Bristol Temple Meads. Here we see the locomotives concerned approaching the station platforms with their support coaches. A1SLT Peppercorn Class A1 no. 60163 Tornado will work the Towy Tornado to Carmarthen, departing at 09:11 whilst ex-BR Standard Class 7 Pacific no. 70013 Oliver Cromwell will depart with The Devonian to Plymouth at 09:21.
