From the slowest mode of railway transport - to the quickest. Putting the hare and tortoise principle to the test, a group of network rail contractors head slowly northbound on a self propelled trolley on the newly installed northbound 'slow' line outside Rugby at Cathiron. They are 'lapped' by a much quicker Virgin Pendolino which heads north with a service from Euston. 14th May 2008.
