A most unusual working for a Class 60, the 11:47 Appleford Sidings to Milford West Sidings empty PFA tanks, was withnessed on 8th December 2023 as No. 60040 'The Territorial Army Centenary' passes Barton under Needwood on 8th December 2023. This will be one of the last workings with No. 60040 for DBC.
