Plinthed outside of Sofia Central main station is this Class 0-6-0T tank locomotive No. 47.05. It dates from 1900 and was constructed by J.A.Maffei in Munich, acquired by BDZ (Bulgarian State run Railway) for shunting purposes. The class totaled 37 similar locos from three different manufacturers. A cab-side shed plate tells us that this locomotive was at some point during it's working career based in Sofia. The image was recorded on 6th October 2016.
