Class 47s No. 47813 and 47245 VE Day 75th Anniversary, bring WCRCs 'The Dalesman' through Pleasington en-route from Chester to Carlisle, on 1st June 2021. Due to the late running of this service, 32 minutes down at this point, the planned call at Preston was cancelled, and any passengers booked to join there were transferred by a Blackpool North to York Northern service as far as Blackburn, in order to join the train.
