With Renzo Piano's 'Shard' building and Sir Christopher Wren's St Paul's cathedral seen on the London skyline, an LUL 'S' stock unit No. 21050 leaves Farringdon station while approaches deep and narrowing retaining walls which lead to the long tunnels at Clerkenwell. Deeper still are the 25kV 'Widened lines' which sees a Class 700 'Thameslink' unit No. 700013 burrowing under the LUL lines and is about to enter Clerkenwell No. 1 tunnel on 13th May 2021.
