Having been named just six days earlier GBRf class 66/7 No. 66767 King’s Cross PSB 1971 - 2021 heads past Hellifield Pond on 29th April 2021 with the 11.25 Arcow Quarry - Bredbury loaded aggregates hoppers. The naming was to commemorate the closure of the Power Signal Box at King’s Cross which was a casualty of the recent infrastructure upgrade and which saw signalling control of the area passed to the signalling centre at York. King’s Cross PSB was opened on 26 September 1971 and ceased operations on 24 April 2021.
