On the 24th July 2020, Class A1 Pacific No. 60163 Tornado approaches York with a movement plus support coach from the NRM to Steamtown Carnforth. The museum is scheduled to re open on 4th August and remains free although to monitor numbers booking has to be made on line to gain a time for entry.
