GBRf Class 66/7 No. 66744 'Crossrail' passes Penyffordd station with a light engine movement from Tuebrook Sidings to Penyffordd Cement, 30th January 2020. 66744 will leave the cement works at approximately 1900 with loaded tanks for Avonmouth. Since December 2019, Hanson Cement Works at Padeswood (Penyffordd Cement) has reintroduced cement tank flows to various locations around the UK, however, currently most of these workings are in darkness. Up to 5 flows per week are envisaged by the company removing significant lorry movements on local roads.
