Sitting in BREL Glasgow Works yard on 2nd April 1978 awaiting overhaul is Inverness DMD based Class 120 Set No. 300. Centre is DMSL SC51792 in blue and grey livery. The 'stretcher window' fitted to this vehicle is clearly visible, front window behind the cab, which hinged upwards from the top to permit a patient on a stretcher to be loaded into the coach straight from a platform. On the far left of the image is Class 120 TSLRB No. 59683 also part of Inverness Set 300 which still carries it's 'Buffet' markings on the carriage side as well as a red cant-rail showing the Buffets position in the vehicle. Both vehicles would be scrapped by Vic Berry, Leicester by April 1986.
