In 1986, the Llangollen Railway was extended from Llangollen to Berwyn and on an unrecorded date shortly after the reopening in March 1986, a charter organised by a small group from Merseyside took place. The loco ex GWR 1400 Class No. 1466 drops down from the locoshed area to Pentrefelin Junction on the day of the charter.
