White Pass and Yukon Railway Nos.96 and 97 downgrade from Frazer to Skagway amidst the splendour of Alaska on 29th August 2018. The number of trains operated is in demand to the quantity of cruise ships visiting and operate in 'flights' of up to 4 as seen on this day. The line is currently open for 27 miles from Skagway with the occasional train north of Frazer. The total length is 107 miles Skagway to Whitehorse, 3 feet gauge this isolated line opened in 1898 and ownership has recently passed to the Carnival Cruise Line.
