Northern Class 142 Pacer pairing off 142065+142005 are seen pausing at Rainford with a Manchester Victoria to Kirkby service on 5th September 2018. Rainford used to be a junction station and a route diverged from here towards St Helens. The signal box is still called Rainford Junction
