On a day of S & C diversions Ex SR West Country Class No. 34092 City of Wells blackens the countryside passing Blea Moor Down Starter Signal on northbound Cumbrian Mountain Express on 7th April 1984. Note the 2 BR Class 37's on standby duties opposite the signalbox on the since removed Down Loop.
