Class 66/5 No. 66594 "NYK Spirit of Kyoto" and classmate No. 66538 lead the 09:47 Fairwater Yard (Taunton) to Doncaster Wood Yard, which comprised of bogie flat wagons conveying used concrete sleepers, passes Burton-on-Trent on 28th March 2018. This working was routed from Bristol to Landor Street Junction via Swindon, Didcot, Oxford and Banbury rather than taking the direct route via Cheltenham and the Lickey Incline between these two locations.
