On the 15th November 2017 one of the Direct Rail Services Rail Head Treatment Trains headed by Class 66/4 No. 66434 and tailed by classmate 66426 arrives at Norwich station. This consist is not on treatment duty but on its way from Stowmarket to Wymondom where it will join the Mid Norfolk Railway to Dereham. The RHTT's are sent to Dereham to be serviced due to a lack of space at Stowmarket.
