A totally unrecognisable scene today at Bromsgrove. The former station has been obliterated and replaced with a new station roughly in line with the rear of the HST and the Oil Terminal No. longer exists. A Cross Country Voyager trip is a poor substitute for the HST as Intercity Class 43 Nos. 43194 and 43193 prepare to climb Lickey forming the 06:48 Cardiff-Newcastle and Provincial Class 156 No. 156406 calls with the 08:10 Birmingham New St-Cardiff service on 4th August 1990
