The Moseley Railway Trust based on the Apedale valley Railway at Chesterton Newcastle under Lyme exists to preserve, conserve and interpret locomotives and artefacts pertaining to the British Industrial Narrow Gauge railway and as well as 3 -2'0"gauge Steam locos has well over 50 internal combustion and battery locos which were once a familiar sight on the Industrial scene. Ruston & Hornsby Type 4WDM Vanguard on site on 8th October 2016 is typical and when delivered from the Lincoln Works in 1939 initially saw service on a construction contract in the Orkneys at Scapa Flow naval base
