On the 27th July 2016 Freightliner Class 66/6 No. 66620 along with Classmate No. 66615 are working the light engine movement from Hope (Earles Sidings) to Crewe Basford Hall Yard and are seen just leaving the single track freight only branch line from Northwich, visible curving away to the left in the distance. This 7 mile stretch of line has been mothballed for several years but has recently been used on a daily basis by freight services routing from the WCML to the Peak District quarries. At Sandbach they will join the Goods lines for the final few miles to Crewe Basford Hall Yard.
