On 16th March 2016, the NYMR's 3 Car DMU Class 101 No. 101685 comprising 50160, 59539 and 50164 stands at Levisham Station, waiting receipt of the single-track token to enable it to continue working the 13:20 Grosmont to Pickering Service, as LNER Class A3 Pacific No. 60103 'Flying Scotsman', in its BR Green livery, arrives at Levisham, working the 14:00 non-stop Pickering to Grosmont service, during the NYMR's week-long 'Flying Scotsman' visit.
