CIE '071' Class No. 075 is one of 21 Co-Co locomotives built by General Motors in 1976 and is seen at Newbridge on a Cork to Dublin service on 13th May 1989. The locomotive has the ignominy of being involved in a fatal rail accident at Buttevant, Co. Cork in 1980 when 18 people were killed.
