Heritage Electric Class Ge 4/4 182 was introduced to the Bernina Bahn in 1928 for service between Pontresina and TiraNo. Withdrawn from service in 1977, it spent many years at various heritage sites until bought by local enthusiasts and returned to the Rhaetian Railways (now owners of the Bernina Bahn since 1943). It was outshopped from a full overhaul in 2010 and now operates special charter trains as on 18th January 2016 when it was chartered by the Railway Touring Company for a tour from Pontresina to TiraNo. and return. On the return journey 182 curves into Brusio with the Bernina range in the background as it makes its climb to the Bernina Plain.
