Class 115 DMBS No. 51894 is seen mid way through an overhaul at BREL Doncaster Works on 5th June 1988. Built at BR Derby Works in 1960 No. 51894 was always associated with London's Marylebone Station on ex Great Central Railway services to High Wycombe and Aylesbury and beyond. Never fitted with a corridor connection she remained in virtually as built condition until replaced by CL 165 Network Turbo units in 1991 with Mayer Newman of Snailwell undertaking the disposal of No. 51894 during November 1991.
