Class 47/4 No. 47595 'Confederation of British Industry' is about to leave Hull Botanic Gardens MPD on 11th May 1986. She carries BR large logo blue livery complete with the large Scottie dog emblem of her Glasgow Eastfield home depot. Delivered in October 1965 as Type 4 No. D1969 she would be based in Scotland at either Edinburgh Haymarket or Glasgow Eastfield depots for the first 26 years of her life. Later allocations would be to Bristol Bath Road and Crewe before being withdrawn from Toton as Class 47/7 No. 47791 in January 2004. Stored for another 9 years she was finally scrapped during May 2013 by C F Booth of Rotherham.
